Day 2: Mrs. Sedestrom & Ms. Cascadden's group

We saw what home fries are like cooked in a nonstick pan versus a Dutch oven, then had cinnamon scones.  The plan for today was cupcakes and cookies. 

We discussed the various types of flour and created:
Mexican Wedding Cookies
Whole Wheat Chocolate Chip Cookies
Vanilla Cupcakes with Chocolate and Mocha Frosting

After lunch, both groups decorated their cupcakes, watched Big Night, then it was time for Cupcake Wars!
